We are excited to announce that SNA Today will be donating $200 to… Heart for Monroe

Heart for Monroe (H4M) is a nonprofit organization that exists to unite and mobilize churches, community organizations, ministries, businesses, and individuals to address homelessness, hunger, education, and relationships in our community.

Heart for Monroe was started after a local youth group took a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in the summer of 2014. When they returned, it was clear they knew more about the needs of the people in a foreign land than in their own community. Heart for Monroe was started in the fall of 2014. The idea was simple – we are stronger when we come together and serve as one.

Heart for Monroe has since grown into a network of more than 65+ churches and 35+ nonprofits all working together with one heart and one mission. This outreach effort is open to all churches, community service groups, schools organizations, and anyone who wants to make a difference in our community. Through a series of service opportunities, events, and programs  – we will change people’s lives and touch hearts.
