We are excited to announce that SNA Today will be donating $200 to… Operation Reach Out

Operation Reach Out is a nonprofit agency assisting clients of Union County, NC in crisis situations. They provide emergency assistance with food, utilities, etc.

This year they are celebrating their 10th year of Taste of Union! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September, 29th 2018.

Some of their programs include:

Beds for Families: Mission – to provide sanitized mattress & box springs to those in need, especially those who have been homeless or burned out of their home and now have a home. All monetary donations designated to this ministry go towards purchasing $50-$60 mattresses/box springs and $30 adjustable bed frames.

Night at the Inn: Mission – to provide one or two-night emergency housing to those in a crisis situation.
Operation Reach Out has partnered with Jameson Inn in Monroe to get a discount rate to provide a place to stay in an emergency situation.

Clothing and Household Closets: Our campus has two storage sheds that hold donated/new clothing, shoes, household items (pots, pans, dishes, etc), personal hygiene, and bedding for those in need. We gladly accept donations towards keeping our shelves full. 

Operation Heat: Mission: to supply new or used space heaters to our elderly and clients who qualify. (The summer program is called Operation Breeze and supplies fans to the elderly and those who qualify.)
